Fiat Chrysler has debuted the new 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12 Special Edition, which brings standard luxury equipment to the off-roading Rebel nameplate.

The major addition to the limited run Rebel 12 is, not surprisingly, the 12-inch UConnect infotainment screen. This massive screen is joined by a leather-trimmed interior, heated seats, metal speaker grilles, a 19-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system with a 10-inch subwoofer and active noise cancellation.

Ram says its customers wanted the 12-inch UConnect system in the off-road-focused Rebel trim, so they responded with the Rebel 12.

“Expanding the availability of the segment-leading Uconnect 4C 12-inch touchscreen is a direct response to market demand,” said Ram brand boss Jim Morrison. “Customers have been asking for additional high-end features on Rebel and now we’re delivering with benchmark technology and materials wrapped in off-road capability.”

The 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12 will start at $48,685 including $1,695 in destination and will go on sale in the fourth-quarter on 2018. The trim is available with all Rebel cab, color and powertrain configurations.
