Finalists Announced for 2019 North American Car/Truck/Utility Vehicle of the Year

The finalists have been announced at the L.A. Auto Show for the 2019 North American Car/Truck/Utility Vehicle of the Year (NACTOY) Awards.
The finalists for Car of the Year are the Genesis G70, Honda Insight, and Volvo S60/V60. In the Utility Vehicle category, the finalists are the Acura RDX, Hyundai Kona/Kona EV, and the Jaguar I-Pace. The Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, and Ram 1500 are the finalists for Truck of the Year.
Three vehicles in each category made it to the last round of voting, hand selected by about 60 jurors from North America, including AutoGuide.com’s editor-in-chief, Jodi Lai. These nine vehicles represent the best new products coming to market for the 2019 model year.
The winners of each category will be announced at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show in January.
