The latest vehicles to earn membership into the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) 2010 Top Safety Pick Award club are Volkswagen, Audi and Hyundai.

Hyundai has just announced that the all-new 2010 Tucson will be priced starting from $18,995, with range-topping Limited models starting at $24,345. A base GLS model with a six-speed automatic will start at $19,995. The Limited trim level with AWD and the Premium package will top out the lineup at $28,695.

Hyundai has just unveiled the all-new 2011 Tucson compact crossover at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The new Tucson gets a complete list of upgrades including a more powerful and fuel efficient 4-cylinder engine, as well as several new features and an all-new look.

Along with an electric version of the company’s tiny i10, Hyundai will also unveil an innovative hybrid CUV concept at the Frankfurt Auto Show in just over a weeks time.

Hyundai has just released two renderings and a teaser image of the upcoming 2010 Hyundai Tucson. We have already had a good glimpse of what the car will look like thanks to a lone spy photo, but the renderings give us an ever better idea of the car from all angles, including the large hexagonal grille.

Thanks the the prying eyes and quick fingers of one amateur spy photographer in Sydney, Australia, we have this single image of the upcoming second-generation Hyundai Tucson. Driving alongside a truck with a full camera rig, Hyundai was apparently filming either a commercial or some promotional video.

Hyundai is planning to release five new models between now and 2012, according to a company info obtained by Autoweek.nl. Three of the five models are expected to make their way to North America.
