Arguably the most prestigious of all concours, the annual Pebble Beach show has grown considerably since its semi-humble beginnings back in 1950 when 30 cars were displayed at what was then the Del Monte Lodge. Fast forward 61 years and over 200 cars (and even a few motorcycles) are on display, all vying for the prestigious Best of Show prize.

A series of leaked photos and a UK market press release are the first look we have at the 2013 Lexus GS luxury sedan. Also confirmed are F-Spot, and hybrid versions (with a GS450h mentioned) as well as a GS250 packing a 2.5L V6 – for Europe only we presume.

He’s the only man so far to have won motorsport world championships on both two and four wheels. Now, John Surtees is set to be reunited with two of the machines that made it possible on Sunday, August 21st at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Moving around to the back-side of its new 7-seat luxury crossover, Infiniti has released a second teaser image of the new JX. Giving just a glimpse of the rear taillight, it’s obvious the new JX will borrow styling cues from the rest of the brand’s crossover lineup
