The 2014 BMW X5 is being recalled for an issue with its child safety locks.

BMW is offering a host of M Performance parts for the X5 SUV that improve the vehicle’s performance and styling, all of which are now available for purchase. 

BMW has unveiled its 2014 X5 M50d SUV, powered by a 3.0-liter, turbocharged six-cylinder diesel engine with 381 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque.

BMW has announced pricing on its third-generation X5, with the 2014 X5 sDrive35i starting from $53,725 including a $925 destination and handling fee.

The third-generation BMW X5 has been officially announced with increased spaciousness, three engine variants, and even more personalization options.

With a recent refresh BMW is already testing its next-generation X5 SUV – or Sports Activity Vehicle as they like to call it. Code named the F15, the new X5 will ride on a modified version of the current vehicle’s platform, although it is expected to undergo significant weight savings. The use of lighter materials is expected in order to drop several hundred pounds and keep up with rivals.
