The long-awaited Maserati Alfieri sports car will spawn a pure electric variant after its eventual debut, Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has revealed. 

A Maserati executive has confirmed that the Italian brand will be build an electric version of its upcoming Alfieri sports car.
