Aston Martin launched its all-new, 503 horsepower AMG V8-powered Vantage yesterday.

Just 100 Aston Martin Vantage GTS models will be built in total and buying one in the U.S. will set you back $137,820. 

Aston Martin has created the lightest and most powerful V8 Vantage ever.

The Vantage serves as Aston Martin’s entry-level model, if something with a six-figure price tag could ever be described as basic. This lustily styled two-door is offered as either a coupe or an open-air roadster, though both models are sweeter than confectioner’s sugar.

Aston Martins are special automobiles; their rarity is on par with products manufactured by companies like Rolls-Royce, Maserati and even Lamborghini.

It looks like Aston Martin will be bringing a new sports car to this year’s 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

The 2014 New York Auto Show starts tomorrow, and Aston Martin has dropped the veil on its plans one day early.

Quietly making an appearance at this year’s Geneva Motor Show is the Aston Martin N430, a special edition variant of the Vantage.

Inspired by its GT4 race car,  Aston Martin has announced a special edition of the V8 Vantage S, which gains a stick shift for the first time.

The newly-updated 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage will be making its way Stateside with a starting price of $118,370 for the coupe and $132,870 for the Roadster variant.

For 2012, Aston Martin updated its entry-level sports car model, the Vantage, with its biggest update since 2008.

The facelifted 2012 V8 Vantage receives the Vantage S treatment with a lowered front bumper with aero splitter, new side skirts, and a new rear bumper with diffuser.

While the engine performance is the same with 420-hp out of a 4.7L V8 as its predecessor, there is an all-new Shortshift II seven-speed automatic transmission available as an option. Other aspects of the vehicle’s performance has been updated, however, with a refined chassis, more agile steering, bigger two-piece six-piston brakes, and wider tires.

For its return to North American racing, Aston Martin has teamed up with Multimatic Motorsports, which are based in Toronto, Canada. The lead car in this endurance race will be driven by Scott Maxwell and Joe Foster, while the second car will be piloted by Hollywood star Patrick Dempsey, who has proven over the years that he is a very accomplished racing driver. For this inaugural event, Dempsey will be teamed-up with Chriss Porritt, Aston Martin’s chief engineer, who is very experienced with the Vantage GT4.
