Cadillac’s CUE infotainment system was widely considered to be a dud, something the company is painfully aware of.

Cadillac is upping its infotainment game for the 2016 model year by adding Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to select vehicles as well as improving its much-maligned CUE telematics system.

Cadillac is doing everything it can to prepare customers for the launch of its upcoming CUE (Cadillac User Experience) infotainment system. That includes throwing in an iPad with every 2013 Cadillac XTS.

Cadillac is prepping a new member to its stable. No, it’s not the Nurburgring-tested ATS we’ve heard oh-so much about. It’s also not the XTS flagship sedan that Cadillac has desperately needed these past few years. In fact, it’s not a car at all.

As expected and right on time, Cadillac rolled out their new XTS Sedan today at the LA Auto Show, fully unveiling their new flagship luxury sedan. Confirmed is a 3.0L V6 with 300-hp under the hood powering the XTS Sedan boasting Cadillac’s Art & Science design language.

Unveiled at the CTIA Wireless Association’s Enterprise and Applications conference in Sand Diego, Cadillac‘s new CUE system promises to be the most advanced in-car telematics interface. Rivaling system’s like MyFordTouch, it’s also designed to be easy to use and understand, even for novices.
