With the liquidation of Saab‘s North American assets and cars from the Heritage Collection put up for auction recently, many were no doubt curious to see where said vehicles ended up.

Looking for an immaculate 1969 Ford Mustang packing a 557 V8 under the hood that has been disguised in a 429 body? This highly detailed, frame-off build could be yours for “just” $159,900.

Rick Treworgy is our kind of guy; he’s spent much of his life restoring cars. Presently he has a collection of roughly 225 vehicles. His assortment is so massive that he had to buy a now-defunct Walmart to house them all.

Willing to share what he’s done over the years with the general public, Treworgy now runs what he calls “Muscle City”, a collection of American classics that date back all the way to 1931. There is even a section full of “restomods,” cars that are built the way he believed they should have been built back in the day. He says all the cars in Muscle City are mechanically sound, meaning that Treworgy could take any one of them out for a spin if he wanted to, which earns extra bonus points from us.

Although Saab‘s museum in Trolhattan, Sweden luckily escaped liquidation, the same cannot be said for the former automaker’s US based Heritage Collection, currently housed in Michigan.

Lyndon B. Johnson was America’s 36th president and was known for cruising around his Texas ranch with the top down and scotch and soda in hand. Now you have the chance to own a piece of American history as LBJ’s 1964 Lincoln Continental will go up for auction in Rosansky, Texas thanks to Dan Kruse classics.

This may seem more like a unicorn than a Mustang, but sure enough before your eyes is a custom 1965 Ford Mustang Station Wagon built by Joe Kamp. It’s also now available for sale for $54,900 and with 93,965 miles on the odometer, it’s clearly been built to be driven.

Now this is a true gem: A 1975 Chevrolet Vega Cosworth with only 291 actual miles on the odometer and is one of just 2,061 produced for the 1975 model year. And it could now be yours for just $37,900.

And now the unfortunate news has come that the vintage Benz was recovered in pieces, but two men were also taken into custody as part of a car-theft ring.
