The era of Mercedes-Benz filling every niche may be soon coming to an end. 

It’s been years since rumors of a nine-speed transmission from Mercedes-Benz started emerging, and now buyers can finally drive one… in Europe. 

The Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake may not be making its way to America, but that isn’t a reason for us to not admire what a magnificent model it is.

Vehicle names are hard to get right (Remember the Ford Probe?). Mercedes-Benz has been using a letter and number naming scheme to help differentiate its cars from one another. However, it’s been causing some confusion with car buyers and journalists alike.

According to UK’s CAR Magazine, it seems like the luxury German automaker is looking to change up its three-letter naming style to help make its niche products a bit more friendly with consumers.

So many of us has been waiting anxiously for Brabus to show the world their Mercedes CLS Rocket successor, and it looks like one enthusiast took matters into their own hands.

Lorinser has finally sent out previews for their upcoming styling package for the new-generation Mercedes-Benz CLS. There’s never a doubt that Lorinser wouldn’t be offering something for the new CLS, we’re just surprised it took this long  – Lorinser originally released sketches over a year ago.

Sure there’s the NEW Mercedes CLS, but let’s not forget about the car that started it all. Without the original we probably wouldn’t have the Panamera, or the A7, or the half-dozen other coupe-style luxury sedans that are rumored to roll out over the next few years.

Teaser photos that surfaced earlier this week of Brabus’ new Mercedes-Benz CLS have turned out to be the official tuning package, and not quite yet the Rocket we were hoping for. Set to debut at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, Brabus has unwrapped its tuned CLS, with a perfect blend of sportiness and luxury.
