298 Cadillacs on Parade Set World Record in Vermont
Originally started by Lorie Seadale as a way to raise awareness for the Orleans County Fair in Barton, Vermont, the Cadillac parade has now brought back a world record to America. The previous record set consisted of 102 Cadillacs on parade back in September of 2002 out in the Netherlands. This time around, the folks in Vermont gathered 298 Cadillacs from across United States and Canada to bring the world record back home.
2012 Cadillac CTS Gets A New Grille And A Tweaked Motor
So for the 2012 model year, the CTS range will be sporting a new grille. According to Cadillac, premium finishes have been added to highlight the combination of mesh and grille better. A newly tweaked logo has also been introduced with brighter colors and raised ridges.
Droptop Customs to Debut Cadillac CTS Convertible at SEMA
Based out of High Springs, Florida, Droptop Customs is a specialist in converting coupes to convertibles. The newest creation to their line of products is Cadillac‘s CTS Coupe and we have to say there’s a sort of sporty elegance to the final product. We’ll have to wait for this year’s SEMA show to see it in person, but given their track record we’re confident that it’ll be a solid conversion.
Cadillac Re-Launches In Europe; Adds CTS Coupe, SportWagon and SRX to Lineup
Cadillac has announced that it will re-launch itself as a brand in Europe under the new Cadillac Europe division name. The new Cadillac sees Europe as an important market (as suggested by the CTS SportWagon) and so the new models and brand will be announced at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show.
Joining Cadillac’s current small offering in Europe will be the CTS SportWagon, SRX crossover and the CTS Coupe. The 556-hp CTS-V Coupe will also prepare to hit the German autobahn and Italian autostrada.
In addition to these models, Cadillac will also show the rest of its lineup including the CTS and CTS V sedans as well as the Escalade Hybrid.

Breaking: Cadillac CTS Coupe Revealed Ahead of LA Auto Show Debut
Just over a week ahead of the car’s scheduled debut, Cadillac has revealed the Coupe version of its popular CTS model, looking almost identical to the concept. Even more exciting is the confirmation that GM’s luxury brand will also deliver a 556-hp CTS-V Coupe, which is expected to debut alongside the standard version at the LA Auto Show.
Breaking: Future General Motors Product Plans Tweeted
If you’re a car junkie, Twitter is the place to be today. Ahead of a webcast tomorrow morning by GM CEO Fritz Henderson, the General arranged for a select few media to meet with its PR folks and get a preview of what the New GM has to offer.
Cadillac ConverJ Electric Concept
General Motors says that it’s extened-range electric powertrain, called VOLTEC, need not be limited to four-cylinder engines either – hinting that a signficantly more powerful drivetrain could be used to power a production model of the ConverJ.

Cadillac CTS Wagon to Debut in Detroit
Cadillac has announced that it will show the production version of the new CTS Sport Wagon at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit this January. Considering the American luxury brand announced production plans for the Caddy wagon months ago, it is also expected that a second model, the CTS Coupe, will be unveiled.
