Ford has dropped a teaser image for its 2018 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, which is set to challenge the Dodge Demon for drag-strip supremacy.

A photo of a totaled Dodge Challenger Demon has been making its rounds on the internet this week, but it’s not clear what the story behind the wrecked muscle car is.

Three Dodge Demons were destroyed this week after the Reliable carrier truck they were being transported in caught fire.

Prior to releasing the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, Fiat Chrysler released 13 teaser videos for the car over the course of a few months.

 “If you keep that up, you’re going to get us kicked off of the track.”

Dodge has announced its dealer allocation plan for the 840-horsepower Challenger SRT Demon and the automaker has made it a priority to prevent dealers from price gouging customers.

The final piece of the Dodge Demon puzzle has been fit into place: the purpose-built drag racer will sell for $86,090 including destination fees and gas guzzler tax in the U.S. 

After enduring months of teasers the Dodge Demon was unleashed on the world during a meticulously planned event on the eve of the 2017 New York Auto Show.

After about 10,000 teasers the wait is over and the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is finally here.
