According to a recent report, Ford will continue to build its current-generation F-150 at the same time as its next-generation F-150 to safeguard itself against potential headaches with the extensive changes happening to the truck.

The BMW i8 Spyder, Ford Atlas pickup, and Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis concept vehicles have all received Concept Vehicle of the Year awards in their respective categories.

Previewing the next-gen F-Series pickups, Ford literally dropped the Atlas concept out of the roof of Joe Louis arena at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. 

Trying to steal some eyes from the General’s new half-tons, Ford rolled out a new truck concept today in Detroit called the Atlas, which showcases some new innovation coming to the next generation of Ford’s pickup trucks.
