Set to replace the  Ford E-Series vans here in America, Ford has debuted its new line of Transit and Transit Connect utility vehicles. 

Men in the U.S. went big, brawny and sporty in 2011 – that is, when it came to the kind of vehicles they bought this past year.

Ford has refuted rumors that the E-Series Econoline vans would be discontinued when the Transit hit the market by confirming that they’ll continue producing the E-Series through the better part of the next decade.

Ford is asking dealers to curtail orders of three shades of red paint, and one hue called “Tuxedo Black” due to difficulties sourcing metallic elements needed for the paint. The element, which is produced by a Japanese supplier, is unable to be produced to due damage resulting from the natural disasters that occurred in the country.
