G-Power Makes The New BMW M5 Even Faster
G-Power has been the source to look after the ever rising performance needs of BMW clients since 1983. They are masters at turning fast cars even faster, and their approach is not just to raise power, but also properly modify the suspension and brakes to cope with the extra performance.
G-Power Tunes BMW M3 GTS to 720-HP
As if improving on BMW‘s M3 wasn’t enough with the M3 GTS, German tuner G-Power has gone on to improve the raw and track-ready machine further. G-Power is proud to announce the arrival of their first three G-Power BMW M3 GTS models, pumping up the 4.4L V8 from 450-hp to all new heights: 720-hp.
G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RS Touring: The World's Fastest Wagon [video]
With a history of building the world’s fastest sedans, G-Power can now claim the title of the world’s fastest wagon. To do so, the German tuner has transplanted its 750-hp twin-supercharged V10 powerplant from the BMW M5 Hurricane RS into an M5 Touring (wagon).
G-Power BMW M3 GTS Has Porsche GT3 RS In Its Sights
G-Power has gotten their hands dirty with BMW‘s ultra-rare, limited edition M3 GTS, teasing the world with an upcoming tuning package that is sure to make the Ultimate Driving Machine even more… ultimate. The focus of G-Power’s build with the GTS is to give BMW enthusiasts a rightful competitor to Porsche’s GT3 RS.
G-Power BMW X5 M Typhoon Throws Down 725-hp
And along with that 725-hp is an astonishing 656 ft-lbs of torque, an increase of close to 155 ft-lbs from factory spec. The aerodynamic package is similar to what we’ve seen before, widening the stance of BMW’s X5 M even more and is available for $16,300. And you’ll need a widebody if you’re going to go and sport massive 23×11-inch wheels in the front with a staggered 23×12-inch pair in the rear. Pack those babies up with 315/25/23 rubber and you’ve got more than enough at your disposal to handle 725-hp. The SUV also sports a mild drop of 1.1-inch.
G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane is World's Fastest Sedan at 231-MPH
G-Power has taken their BMW M5 and has officially made it the world’s fastest sedan clocking in at 372 km/h or 231 mph. Dubbed the Hurricane RR, G-Power has beaten its own previous record of 367.4 km/h or 228 mph. The M5 is able to achieve this top speed through its twin-supercharged V10 engine that puts down 800-hp and 590 ft-lbs of torque.
G-Power informs that the ASA T1-316 superchargers used in the setup could theoretically output over 900-hp. The V10 has obviously been rebuilt, using Mahle pistons and custom rods. The ECU was remapped and tuned to ensure its highest horsepower output is in the M5’s 7500-8000 rpm range.
The record run was achieved on 19-inch G-Power forged wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Spot tires. The Hurricane RR as you see it in all its record-setting glory can be ordered from G-Power for a measly $320,000 . But if you’ve already got an M5 or M6 sitting around, G-Power’s twin supercharger setup starts at around $71,415.

G-Power Builds 900-HP BMW X6 M
Yeah, yeah deep down inside we are probably in love with BMW‘s X6 M even though we still think it’s a confusing platform. It’s becoming quite a success story in the aftermarket, especially internationally. Recently we showed off G-Power’s awesome M3 Clubsport Models and now they’ve struck up an ambitious project by producing what they call the world’s fastest SUV. Even though BMW’s X6 M is not considered an SUV by BMW (remember, it’s a sport activity vehicle) we all know what it is deep down inside.
Dubbed the Typhoon RS, G-Power’s X6 M throws down 900-hp with a top speed of over 205 mph. To accomplish this, G-Power transplanted in BMW’s M5 V10 motor and overhauled it with what they refer to as “Formula 1 characteristics.” The motor was stroked to 5.5-liters and a pair of ASA T1-316 compressors were added for forced induction (similar to what’s seen in their M5 Hurricane RR world-record vehicle). The motor is reworked with lower compression Mahle pistons, new rods and a forged 7-bearing crank.
With a watercooled intercooler to keep everything cool and an ECU tune, the X6 M drops out 900-hp and 640 ft-lbs of torque. The peak power is at 8000 rpms, showing off just how high-revving this V10 can go.
On the outside is a custom wide body and a set of 23-inch wheels. Upgraded brakes are included in the package with carbon-ceramic rotors and 6-piston calipers. Further weight is dropped with a titanium exhaust system, four carbon individual seats and the xDrive system is completely dumped. They state that the car is about 330 lbs lighter than stock.
G-Power is limiting production to five vehicles and can be ordered as a completely finished vehicle. And the price? Well if you have to ask, then you can’t afford it… we’re guessing.

G-Power Storm, a Modified BMW 760i With a 214-mph Top Speed
German BMW tuner G Power has just announced its latest high-horsepower transformation, the 760i. Powered by an already impressive twin-turbo V12, G Power modified the existing units to pump out an additional 181-hp for a total of 725-hp at just 5500 rpm. Torque also gets a dramatic increase, rising to 737 ft-lbs at just 2000 rpm. G Power claims this is enough for a 4.2 second 0-62 mph time and a top speed of 214 mph. That speed might seem unrealistic, were it not for G Power’s record holding M5 Hurricane, which reached an astounding 228 mph in testing.
G-Power Typhoon: Widebody 525 Horsepower X5
German BMW tuner G-Power has just released details on its latest project, a supercharged widebody BMW X5 called the Typhoon.
XFR: Fastest Jaguar Ever
With modifications that the company describes as minimal (which actually included a fully stripped out interior, the addition of a roll cage, a front splitter and a massive rear spoiler) the XFR hit an astonishing top speed of 225.675 mph.
It isn’t quite enpugh to solidify the Jag as the fastest sedan in the world (that record belongs to the G-Power twin-supercharged M5 with a top speed on 228mph) but it’s close.

Fastest Sedan in the World
BMW Tuner G-Power has just announced that during recent testing at the Papenburg test track in Germany, its 750hp twin-supercharged HURRICANE RS M5 set a new WORLD RECORD for the fastest sedan.
With a stop speed of 367.5 km/h (228.4 mph) the Hurricane eclipsed the Mercedes CLS-based Brabus Rocket, which set a speed of 365.7 km/h (227.2 mph).
The Hurricane RS is a slightly more powerful version of the standard production Hurricane with 750hp versus 730hhp. The gain was made by raising boost pressure in both ASA superchargers from 10.1 lbs to 11.6 lbs.
According to G-Power CEO and engineer Christian Stöber, the
Hurricane is capable of topping its own record as boost can be raised as high as 14.5 lbs. “We are curious if this will be necessary…” reads the end of the company’s press release, a definite challenge to the boys at Brabus.
While this new record is certain to help G-Power sell more vehicles, most likely in places like Dubai, the speed record won’t be possible in the production cars because they will not be equipped with the gearing necessary to do so. Brabus does, however, offer the Rocket to customers with longer gears. Regardless, unless those customers own their own airstrip, 220-plus mph speed runs are unlikely.
