Jaguar F-Type Set for Goodwood Debut
Back at the New York Auto Show in April, Jaguar announced at a press conference that it would be introducing it’s new “baby” sports car the F-Type, later this year. Now we can confirm that a prototype is set to make it’s official debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed at the end of this month.
Porsche's 911 GT2 RS Gets Explained, Driven Up The Hill At Goodwood (Video Inside)
We’re sure that many of you lust after the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS, but chances are unless you’ve placed your order already, you’ll never get behind the wheel of one.
At the very least, Porsche has made a video that gives you a thorough walk-around of their new sports car, dubbed the fastest street legal Porsche of all time, with Andreas Preuninger, Manager of High Performance Vehicles for Porsche, explaining all the important details.
When all the technical details are hashed out, Preuninger takes the GT2 RS up the hill at Goodwood for some rear-engined, flat-six goodness.

Bentley Supersports Convertible Debuts at Goodwod With Derek Bell Behind the Wheel
With Bentley looking to put more focus on the performance of its vehicles in the future, the snooty British brand certainly chose the right way to show off its latest product at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Supersports Convertible, the world’s fastest drop-top, tacked the exciting hillclimb event driven by none other than racing legend Derek Bell.
Jaguar Releases Goodwood Special XKR in… Lime Green?
If we told you Jaguar built a special one-off version of the new XKR grand tourer for the Goodwood Festival of Speed and painted it green, you would no doubt assume it would be a typically-British green. You know, British Racing Green, a color so dark it looks black in the shade.
Oh no… the one-off 2010 Goodwood Special Jaguar XKR is lime green. How uncouth!
Jaguar hasn’t released all the details on this special edition, but expect output from the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 to exceed the stock car’s 510 ponies. Jaguar also promises it will be much louder than stock.
Additionally, the Goodwood Special XKR will get a set of dark-colored 21-inch wheels with a lowered ride height and dark “satin graphite” paint for the mirrors, window surrounds, grilles and headlight casings.
“The XKR ‘Goodwood Special’ has been developed as a one-off to explore the harder side of the XKR’s character and allow our engineering team to explore some performance boundaries,” said Mike O’Driscoll, Managing Director, Jaguar Cars. “The Festival of Speed gives us the opportunity to have fun in a high performance car without all the practical and legal requirements of driving on the road getting in the way!”
Jaguar will present the car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 3-5th alongside the 1957 Le Mans winning long-nose D-type, a Le Mans-winning Jaguar C-Type, the one-of-one Jaguar XJ13 race car and the 225mph Bonneville XFR. All of the vehicles will partake in the Goodwood HillClimb.

Infiniti to Show Essence Concept at Goodwood Festival of Speed
To help promote the launch of the Infiniti brand in the U.K., the luxury Japanese automaker will bring its stunning Essence Concept to the Goodwood Festival of Speed in September. Alongside the Essence will be Infiniti’s brand new G37 Convertible. Sadly, Infiniti explicitly points out in its press release that while the G37 will be on sale this year in the U.K., the Essence will not.
