Hybrids have come a long way from being scoffed at and being labeled hipstermobiles.

Another Detroit Auto Show is in the books and though there were no huge surprises or show-stealing reveals, it was still quite the spectacle.

Honda is set to unveil its 2019 Insight prototype at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show. This all-new hybrid is estimated to deliver 50 miles per gallon along with segment-leading interior space and room for five adults.

Everyone likes a good rivalry, and there are a lot of these competitive relationships when it comes to cars. Consider the Mustang vs Camaro rivalry, or the F-150 vs Silverado throw down. Or even the Camry vs the Accord.

Honda is discontinuing its Insight hybrid after more than a decade of lackluster sales. 

In 1999 Honda introduced the Insight, the first mass-market hybrid to hit Europe, but now 16 years later, the Japanese automaker will stop offering the Insight and CR-Z Hybrid in Europe due to declining sales.
