If Honda does not race, there is no Honda — Soichiro Honda (Founder, Honda Motor Co.)

Honda has already come out to say it won’t be building a next-generation S2000 and that a so-called ‘baby NSX’ performance car isn’t on the table either.

A Honda patent application for a new, unique kind of air dam that could be used on a variety of vehicles.

Honda is considering tacking a Type R badge onto the new NSX, a move that would bring with it a lighter, more track-focused car. 

“I can’t tell you anything about the ‘baby NSX’ … I could, but I’d probably get fired.”

Honda’s been wandering in the desert for what seems like an eternity. But the company is finally getting its performance groove back with products like the NSX and S660 sports car. But intriguingly there could be even more under development.

The production Acura NSX hasn’t even debuted, but that hasn’t stopped enthusiasts from securing one for when they’re available.

Honda and/or Acura’s upcoming NSX supercar has once again been spotted being put through its paces on the vaunted Nürburgring in Germany. Fortunately this time it didn’t catch fire.

The Honda NSX GT Concept will be competing in this year’s Super GT series, and the Japanese automaker has shared a video of it testing the race car in Japan.

The 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon isn’t all about show, there’s plenty of cars that go as well.

Making its first public appearance at the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon, the Honda NSX-GT will soon compete in its first season of Japanese Super GT racing, a year before the street car goes on sale. 

The Honda NSX Super GT race car has finally been revealed at Suzuka Raceway, as the teams begin testing their vehicles for the 2014 season.

A 1993  Honda NSX that was once in the possession of Ayrton Senna, three-time Formula 1 champion, is for sale on eBay.

Make no mistake, this IS as much of a bucket-list as it is a dream list of cars. I’ve yet to drive many of these sublime examples of motoring, but if I was ever given the opportunity, I’d jump at it,  potentially re-scheduling a birthday party, religious holiday or anniversary to get a chance behind one of these vehicles. If (or until) these opportunities arise, I’ll have to just dream.
