Hyundai Veloster Turbo Races A Cheetah In Super Bowl Ad [Video]

We introduced you to the first of Hyundai’s Super Bowl ads today. Well, Hyundai isn’t stopping with just one – we’ve got our hands on another ad for you to preview before the big game.

In a 30-second ad titled “Cheetah,” which will be shown sometime during the first quarter of the game, a cheetah goes head-to-head with the Hyundai Veloster Turbo. The cheetah is let out of its cage, and the two take off down the open road. It’s not long before the cheetah realizes it’s beat, and turns out to be a sore loser… as it turns on its trainer.

We don’t know how many cheetahs you’re going to have the chance to outrun in your Veloster Turbo, but it’s still a pretty impressive feat to say that you could if you wanted to. Watch the ad after the jump.

Rhys Millen Turns Hyundai Veloster Rally Car Into an Awesome Golf Cart [Video]

Hyundai and Rhys Millen Racing deserve a round of applause for their recent video antics that spread through the Internet like a leaked photo from a celebrity cell phone.

This time around, the team took their Veloster Rally Car out to the golf course where it replaced the traditional golf cart. Almost everything you can imagine that shouldn’t be combined into a video, is. We’re talking golf clubs, golf balls, a 500-hp Veloster with 600 lb-ft of torque, and cows. Yes, we said cows.

Really there’s no reason behind this video, other than the fact that millions of people will watch it which means millions of eye balls on Hyundai’s little Veloster.

Hyundai Veloster Turbo Confirmed, Will Bow at Detroit Auto Show

Rumored for months and perhaps even years, Hyundai has confirmed it will offer a Veloster Turbo model. Hyundai has revealed official details of its upcoming Veloster Turbo model, which is listed with a rating of 204-hp. A significant increase over the 140-hp of the standard model the Gama 1.6-liter 4-cylinder gets a twin scroll turbocharger and direct-injection. Full power comes on at just 6000 rpm, with a significant 195 lb-ft of torque at just 1750 rpm.
