When it comes to motoring fun, one of the most intriguing segments is the under $30,000 price bracket, where several enticing choices can be found in a variety of shapes and sizes.

If you missed our most popular videos from AutoGuide‘s YouTube channel this week, you’ll be glad you caught this recap. This week, there’s plenty going on with the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, but our viewers were also curious to see if the Juke NISMO deserves its motorsports badge.

At the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Nissan will have the global debut for the new Note that will be competing in the B-segment in Europe.

Nissan has officially kicked off a new era for its performance arm, Nismo, and has officially opened the new Nismo global headquarters and development center in Yokohama, Japan.

Nissan‘s in-house tuning company has touched up the brand’s smallest crossover, and the finished product will be heading to dealerships very soon.

It might seem silly after learning the output specifications on the Juke NISMO, but there’s a finer-tuned version on the way.

Last year, Nissan announced that it had plans to expand its NISMO subsidiary, transforming it into a more mainstream performance brand – similar to what Lexus has done with its F-Sport line.

Tweaked from its original version, the Nissan Juke NISMO is more of an appearance package than a serious performance variant.

It only takes a quick look at the Juke-R to realize Nissan’s expertise in unusual performance cars most of us will never drive. For those who cant justify shelling out more than half-a-million, there’s the Juke NISMO.

The 2012 Paris Motor Show is coming up fast, and today Nissan announced that the Juke NISMO will be unveiled as the first vehicle in a string of NISMO tuned performance vehicles.

The 500 hp Juke R might be a wild performance machine, but the track capable crossover isn’t likely to ever see the inside of a showroom. More likely is a custom NISMO tuned model, or in-house aftermarket accessories from the brand’s racing division.

It’s definitely not as awesome as the Juke-R, but the Nissan Juke Nismo Concept is probably a more realistic variant of the Juke and gives the first glimpse into Nismo’s future. Featuring a lower, wider and tougher stance, the Juke Nismo Concept received an aerodynamic-enhancing body kit, more power from a tuned engine, a stiffer chassis, larger tires, sporty interior treatment and a Nismo-colored paint scheme.
