Even with the crazy expensive Veneno Roadster globally unveiled last week, Lamborghini isn’t forgetting about its affordable models, and our  spy photographers managed to grab some pics of one such car, the Gallardo replacement dubbed the Cabrera.

Lamborghini has released episode two of its Hexagon Project web series, which will hopefully lead up to the unveiling of the Cabrera.

Lamborghini has launched a new video series dubbed the “Hexagon Project,” which is probably a code name for its upcoming Cabrera model.

The Lamborghini Cabrera prototypes have shed their all-black camouflage and now sport the stripes and swirls spy photo stage.

AutoGuide’s spy photographers caught Lamborghini’s successor to the Gallardo making early morning laps of the Nurburgring in Germany today wearing very little camouflage. 

The successor to the highly successful Lamborghini Gallardo will be revealed early next year and the first details of the car, reportedly named the Cabrera, are starting to surface.

A successor to the Lamborghini Gallardo has been rumored for several years now, and this might just be a prototype of the car, rumored to be called the Cabrera, out testing out in the wild.

The successor to the popular Lamborghini Gallardo model is expected to make its debut next year and is currently rumored to be named “Cabrera.”

Having just launched its new flagship Aventador supercar, Lamborghini has reportedly already begun extensive work on the Gallardo successor.
