Production of the Lexus CT200h won’t continue past the 2017 model year.

Lexus is taking a tongue-in-cheek approach to advertising the CT200h. 

The Lexus CT200h has finally adopted the brand’s signature spindle grille along with some other tweaks for the 2014 model year, but the base price for the car will stay exactly the same at $32,960. 

Yesterday, Lexus kept its 2014 CT200h under wraps at the Los Angeles Auto Show, but now that it’s officially debuted at the Guangzhou Motor Show in China, the Japanese automaker has lifted the covers in LA.

The refreshed 2014 Lexus CT200h will make its world debut at the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show in China.

The Top 10 Most Fuel Efficient cars have been named for 2012 by the Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA (those guys that come up with the official ratings for cars) has compiled the list, which is dominated by Japanese automakers. Those remaining two are domestic vehicles, although with one being a commercial van, it almost should count. On the list are electric and hybrid vehicles only, with no diesels or pure gasoline engines.

Meguiar’s will be heading to SEMA this year with this custom two-tone Lexus CT 200h. While it’s not exactly the crazy project one would expect from a SEMA display car, the 2012 CT 200h serves a purpose as a proper marketing tool for Meguiar’s.

When a car meets its expected sales target it’s not normally worth reporting, but considering the flop that was the HS250h (not to mention slumping brand sales in general), Lexus seems on track to meet and even exceed its goal with the new CT200h.
