Lexus Racing has announced that it will be competing in the 2014 Japanese Super GT Series with an all-new LF-CC race car.

The Lexus RC will be making its public debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show and will arrive U.S. dealerships in late 2014.

The redesigned 2014 Lexus IS might just seem like a natural evolution, but it was heavily influenced by the LF-CC concept which debuted at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

Lexus’ new IS sport sedan will be available as a coupe variant and is planned for 2014 according to a recent report. 

Trademark filings hinted that the production version of the Lexus LF-CC concept will be called the RC, and now it’s rumored that the luxury coupe will be the first from the Toyota luxury division to sport a turbocharged engine.

A trademark Lexus filed in Australia might hint at the production version of its LF-CC coupe first seen in Paris earlier this year.

Debuting last month at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the Lexus LF-CC is now enjoying its North American debut at the 2012 SEMA Show.

It may not be the exquisite LF-LC Blue concept that just debuted in Australia, but Lexus will be heading to the 2012 SEMA Show with its LF-CC Coupe concept that was revealed last month at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
