The side part is cool again. Skinny ties, narrow lappels and closely cut clothes make the man, albeit with much less cigarette smoking.

Lincoln has released a video teaser of things to come, but left it as ambiguous it possibly could.

With nothing new to show off at the 2012 LA Auto Show, Lincoln decided to buck the trend by bringing a collection of fine, classic Lincoln models to its booth.

The numbers have been tallied and the data compiled in Consumer Reports’ latest Auto Reliability Survey. Toyota has a lot to be happy about but Ford has taken a tumble.

Lincoln is celebrating opening its first design center since the 1970s. The all-new Lincoln MKZ that will be arriving later this year is the first of many vehicles from the new studio.

Now that Lincoln has announced that its 2013 MKZ Hybrid will be available at no additional cost, the American automaker is proud to say that the car will also boast the highest fuel economy of any luxury vehicle in the US market.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard rumors of Lincoln’s compact car but it appears that development continues and the production model will be based on the Ford Focus.

Chinese automotive shoppers will get a new brand to pick from starting in the second half of 2014, when Ford will introduce its luxury Lincoln brand to the Chinese market.

Gearing up for a redesign, both the Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator are going to be adding EcoBoost V6 engines to the lineup. 

With no plans to offer a flagship above the MKS,  Lincoln is looking to produce smaller vehicles to fully flesh out its lineup.

Pragmatic in its approach, at least from some angles, Lincoln is aiming to market high-volume vehicles while skipping slow-selling flagship cars.

The Lincoln MKT is about to get a 4-cylinder engine option, though you won’t be able to buy it. The new EcoBoost 4-cylinder will only be available on the MKT Town Car, built for fleet use by livery companies.

The redesigned 2013 Lincoln MKZ is ready to hit dealerships in late fall of this year, and when it does it will come with a $35,925 base price tag. 

Mercedes will become the second automaker to equip its cars with inflatable seat belts, likely in the S-Class sedan, which will go into production next year.

Ford is well on its way in developing the new 2015 Mustang, and now its component set may find its way onto a rear-wheel drive Lincoln sedan.
