Lingenfelter Offers Three Engine Packages For 2009-2012 Corvette ZR1
Lingenfelter Performance Engineering has been hard at work tuning the LS9 found in 2009-2012 Chevrolet Corvettes, and now has three engine packages for those hungry for more horsepower. The first, offers up to 680-hp thanks to a supercharger pulley upgrade, while the remaining two are both supercharger system upgrades, one of which brings power output to 710-hp while the other is a more extreme 750-hp.

Lingenfelter Pushes Cadillac CTS-V Coupe to Over 700-hp [Video]
Lingenfelter is world-renowned for pushing the limits on horsepower and their new engine package for the 2009-2011 Cadillac CTS-V (and new CTS-V Coupe) is no exception to the rule. Providing a turnkey package to CTS-V owners, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering offers 623-rwhp and 617 lb-ft of torque at the wheels in a manual transmission CTS-V.
The performance package is as comprehensive as one can get which includes removing the stock powerplant from the vehicle and overhauling it for extreme power. Much of the work is done in the head, with Lingenfelter’s CNC port & polish while swapping in new valves, valve springs and retainers. Helping aid in producing high end horsepower is Lingenfelter’s GT9 camshaft.
Lingenfelter then focuses on providing additional fuel to go with the extra boost thanks a 2.55-inch diameter steel supercharger drive pulley. New injectors are installed and the entire package is tested to perfection on a dyno with extensive ECM tuning.
The complete package comes with Lingenfelter’s 2 year, 24,000-mile warranty.

Lingenfelter Camaro Breaks 8-Second Quarter Mile Barrier [Video]
And there you have it folks, Lingenfelter’s wickedly-sounding Chevrolet Camaro has broken the 8-second barrier in the quarter mile. It was just back in July when we broke news that Lingenfelter’s Camaro had ran a 9.974 and just four months later, they’ve shaved a whole second off their time going 8.997 @ 158.8 mph.
More astonishing is the car’s insane 1.384 60-foot launch by driver Jon Ebert. It’s obvious that Lingenfelter has tuned the Camaro inside and out, tweaking every component imaginable to get it into the 8-second range. The 377 ci LS9 features a GM LS9 Eaton TVS2300 supercharger mated to a fully built motor with JE pistons, ported heads and more.
On the dyno, the Camaro puts down a ridiculous 1,243-hp with 1,328 ft-lbs of torque to back it up. And even with a 4,075 lb race weight, it’s good enough to plant the Camaro into the prestigious 8-second club. We’re going to guess that there will be some diminishing returns now on Lingenfelter’s tuning efforts, but we’re confident they can get this thing running 8’s consistently and safely.

Lingenfelter Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger Corvette Engine Package Pumps Out 670-HP
Lingenfelter is up to its old tricks again, this time pumping out 670-hp and 565 ft-lbs of torque from the Corvette’s LS3 powerplant. The bulk of the power comes from an Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger in combination with Lingenfelter’s CNC-ported LS3 heads and their recently developed GT9 ZR1 supercharger camshaft.
Lingenfelter Camaro Breaks 9 Second Barrier [video]
To honor John Lingenfelter and all of the company’s valued customers, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering hosted a memorial track day at Muncie Dragway where all Lingenfelter customers were treated to a free day at the drag strip. While we’re sure all of them had a ton of fun (we’re a bit jealous we didn’t get to attend), the highlight of the event had to have been Lingenfelter’s 2010 LS9 Chevy Camaro breaking into the 9 second mark.
Now obviously since this is Lingenfelter’s own demo vehicle, it’s been overhauled inside and out. It has been built with JE Pistons and stock GM LS9 crankshaft and titanium rods. Lingenfelter’s own CNC ported LS9 cylinder heads, camshaft, intercooler assembly and more helped take the supercharged Camaro to new heights.
The details on the passes as mentioned by Tim at Lingenfelter were 88 degrees Fahrenheit and around 75% humidity. In other words, not the best or ideal situations to go taking the car down the quarter mile, but not the worst either. Their quickest pass of the day was a 9.974 at 141.64 mph and backed it up with two additional 9 second passes.
So now it’s clear that more and more of today’s vehicles are very capable of hitting 9’s down the quarter mile while maintaining a great possibility in staying a reliable daily driver.

Lingenfelter Chevy LS9 Camaro SS Goes Into the 10s [with Video]
Last year, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering announced its new Chevy Camaro Engine Packages bragging about major horsepower upgrades while maintaining daily-driving performance. A little less than a year later, Lingenfelter is lighting up the quarter-mile track, putting on a display with their own Chevy Camaro demo vehicle.
This Camaro packs a real punch, sporting a built LS9 supercharged V8 throwing down 855-hp. The motor has been reinforced with JE forged aluminum pistons while the head has been CNC ported with upgrade cams from LPE. At South Georgia Motorsports Park, the Camaro laid down several mid-to-low 10 second passes with a best of 10.36 @ 139.95 mph. This was done with the stock six-speed transmission.
This new generation of American muscle is capturing a whole new audience, with many previously devoted import fanatics looking at the new Chevy Camaro as a great platform to customize. If you need some inspiration, make sure to check out the video of Lingenfelter’s Camaro lighting up the track after the jump.

Lingenfelter Cadillac CTS-V Tuned to 630-Horsepower
Years ago Cadillac was strictly geared towards an “older” generation and market. Nowadays though, the American luxury car manufacturer has set their sights on capturing a market mostly dominated by European sport sedans. The Cadillac CTS-V has been GM’s entry into the luxury sport-sedan market competing against BMW’s M5 and Mercedes-Benz’s E63 AMG. From the factory it pumps out 556-hp and 551 ft-lbs of torque from its 6.2L LSA CTS-V supercharged engine. But given that it’s a supercharged power plant, it’s no surprise that the aftermarket has embraced it with open arms. Lingenfelter Performance Engineering is a name that has become world-renowned and legendary in the world of domestic tuning. It would be a disappointment if Lingenfelter didn’t get their hands dirty with the new Cadillac CTS-V.
And dirty they have gotten, with hours and hours of research and design into a new Supercharger Pulley Upgrade Package for the new Cadillac CTS-V. More power means more fun, and this pulley upgrade offers an impressive increase. Lingenfelter’s CTS-V has tested to 630 brake horsepower and 630 ft-lbs of torque. An increase any performance enthusiast would be crazy over. Boost level is increased to 12-13 psi, still relatively safe numbers for the 6.2L. Best of all, the price tag on Lingenfelter’s pulley upgrade is attractive too, especially considering the Cadillac CTS-V tips in at over $60,000. One can be hand for as low as $589.95 retail, labor excluded. For those that just want to drop it off along with a check book, Lingenfelter will do a complete in-house installation, taking possession of the vehicle, testing and a full dyno report before and after the install.
The full press release is available after the jump.
SEMA 2009: Lingenfelter Trans Am Debuts in Vegas
On display at the Nitto tires booth at the 2009 SEMA Show is a modern interpretation of the Pontiac Trans Am. Based on a 2010 Camaro, the car was designed and built by the Corvette and Chevy tuning experts at Lingenfelter. The car takes cues from the 1971 second-gen TA and so in order to stay faithful to that car Lingenfelter decided to equip it with a 445 cubic inch V8 engine. That engine, claims Lingenfelter, makes a whopping 655-hp!
