Rivaling the Mercedes CLS63 Shooting Brake S-Model 4Matic for the longest name for a vehicle debuting today at the Geneva Motor Sho w, MINI has revealed what it calls the JCW Countryman All4 Dakar Winner 2013.

When the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series was first announced, we considered it one of the best sports cars to ever be released. 

Saint-Tropez is a small town located just east of Marseille on the French Riviera and is often known for its beaches and a regatta event held every year that draws some of the world’s finest luxury yachts to its bay. In other words, it’s a little resort town that attracts some of the world’s wealthiest tourists and as a result, travelers within Europe often times show off really fancy cars.

BMW is now offering the very rare 2011 Frozen Black Edition M3 Coupe. Like last year’s 15-minute sell out matte-finish M3, only 20 of these will be made, making them very desirable.

Chrysler set its Mopar division on the Fiat 500 for the 2011 Detroit Auto Show and the Italian runabout emerged with a matte black makeover and a number of other upgrades.

In case you can’t tell, all you have to do is take an exotic (or luxury) car, wrap it in matte black and the internet will immediately go nuts about it. There’s just something so sinister and so menacing when you go and take a car like the Audi R8 and rewrap the entire car in a matte black finish, pair it up with matte black wheels and sprinkle in some carbon fiber body pieces.

We’ll be honest, we thought this whole matte black car craze would die out sooner than it has. We’re getting tired of seeing yet another poorly-done flat black car, but damn if this Infiniti G37 sedan doesn’t just look incredible. With the facelift on the new G37 sedan, we’ve been anticipating what the aftermarket would do with its new, more aggressive lines and this entry is everything we’ve been dreaming of.

Just when we thought the matte black fad (or style) was starting to fade, TechArt introduces the Porsche Panamera Black Edition to the world. Porsche’s entry to the luxury sedan market has been well received so far, combining Porsche performance with traditional comforts that drivers and passengers are used to seeing in say, a Mercedes-Benz S-Class or BMW 7-Series. TechArt, a Porsche-exclusive tuner, has been merging design with functional technology since 1987.

The Ford Focus RS500 debut has been a little interesting, to say the least. Ford had built a new website, teasing the release of the car over several days. They claim however that the website was “hacked” and the official (and enticing) photos of the Ford Focus RS500 were released 48 hours early. Perhaps it was a truly intentional (and brilliant) marketing ploy, but word spread quickly and now it appears the Ford Focus RS500 is already sold out – with a limited run of 500 units – before official pricing has even been announced.

The latest in a string of limited edition Mercedes-Benz SL models, the SL550 Nigh Edition is clearly distinguished by it’s sinister matte-black “designo magno black ” paint scheme. Additional exterior highlights include two-tone 19-inch AMG wheels as well as darkened headlights and taillights. Inside, the cockpit of the SL Night Edition gets dark black leather contrasted with plenty of chrome. Newly designed seats are also a art of the package and feature arrow-shaped seams with silver contrasted features.

The Underground Racing Lamborghini Gallardo has it all. On display at the Mobil 1 booth, the Italian exotic not only sports a matte-black paint job, but it’s what’s under the glass engine cover out back that will really get your attention.

After its world debut just a few weeks ago at the Tokyo Auto Show, today Lexus gave an audience of media and aftermarket tuners the first look on U.S. soil of the its new LFA supercar.

Contrary to popular reports (our own included) there will be at least one foreign automaker at the Tokyo Auto Show. Lotus has announced its attendance and the British sports car company will unveil what it calls the Exige Scura, a special edition vehicle along the lines of the Exige S 260.

The Mansory booth at the Geneva Auto Show was a showcase for four of the tuner’s creations. We already brought you news about the Lineo Vincero Bugatti Veyron, and while that vehicle might be the most obvious, the best looking of the cars is arguably the matte-black Bentley Continental GT.

We normally rag on the dozes of different SLR models that the Mercedes/McLaren partnership has come out with but this Brabus model is something else.
