The 2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG might be a misnomer, but don’t mistake its performance.

The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is shedding its camouflage as the sedan gets ready for its Paris Motor Show debut.

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is expected to make its debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

The new 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be launching in North America shortly with C300 4Matic and C400 4Matic variants, but those looking for more performance will have to wait for the C63 AMG variant.

 We’ve all experienced it at one point while behind the wheel: the frustration of being stuck behind someone going terribly slow around a corner. 

Mercedes-Benz has pulled the sheet off yet another special edition, and this one will be specifically for the Japanese market. 

Mercedes-Benz released a thank you video a few weeks ago for its fans, but it wasn’t enough to whet our appetites for the tuned up German cars, and so the company has re-released the video with all of the footage that was cut from the original. 

The fearsome Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series Coupe is going to be taking on an arguably tamer role than its used to. Instead of laying rubber on a track, it will be the official safety car of this season’s DTM Season.

The 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show gave us our first look at the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series Coupe in the flesh. Despite the ridiculously long name, the car is a certified badass, with a 6.2L V8 packing 517 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. This will likely be the final application for the big 6.2L engine before AMG switches over to its 5.5L twin-turbo version.

The video (below the jump) is the stunt that was most voted on by fans of the Mercedes-Benz Facebook page. So if it’s not extreme enough, you have a lot of people to blame.

How about a  C111 rotary gullwing jumping the St. Lawrence? Why not a bunch of E-Class convertibles and GLKs in a symphonic destructo-thon? Alas, those harebrained ideas detract from the impressiveness of this stunt already, where a C63 AMG coupe drifts figure-eights around a pair of C63 AMG sedans. It’s no Saab Suite, but it’s still pretty damn cool.

It’s only a matter of time before the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG gets adopted by the Ed-Hardy-and-hair-gel crowd as the official car of the Flash and the (steroid-fueled) Furious, but Mercedes has at least put out a video showing some decent b-roll footage of the car being driven at speed.

The 451-horsepower coupe is arguably the most desirable of the C63 range – aside from the awesome C63 wagon, which North American consumers can’t buy. Check out the videos below the jump.
