Nissan debuted the coachbuilt R35 GT-R this summer ahead of the car’s public appearance at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The vehicle was designed by Nissan and Italdesign together and will be hand built by the Italian design and engineering company at its headquarters in Turin, Italy.

Italdesign is one of the most prominent and well-known Italian design firms.

At the New York Auto Show, Nissan revealed that it was a hit with Millennials, with much of the credit going to the automaker’s partnerships with pop culture icons like Star Wars.

Nissan will pull the sheet from the North American-spec GT-R in two weeks time at the 2017 New York Auto Show.
