It’s taken a lot of effort for Porsche to develop its first all-electric model. And so it’s showing off what the engineers have accomplished. Slowly. In a trickle. Over many days. The latest is another feat of racecraft. The Taycan has now set a record for fastest four-door EV on the Nurburgring.

It might just be the best race of the year: the Nurburgring 24 Hours.

The updated Porsche 991.2 911 GT3 RS may have lapped the Nurburgring in under 7-minutes, putting it within striking distance of some of the world’s fastest supercars.

Toyota is set to establish a new research and development hub as it invests more heavily into electrified vehicles.

With a time of 7:45.19, the Mercedes-AMG E63 S is the fastest wagon ever around the Nurburgring.

Porsche may have set a new lap at the Nurburgring, with the automaker saying it has some news to share this week. 

Lamborghini says the soon-to-arrive Urus will be the fastest production SUV to ever lap the venerable German circuit.

Subaru has sent its purpose-built Subaru WRX STi Type RA NBR Special around the Nurburgring in under 7-minutes.

If anyone needed more proof that muscle cars can do more than just straights, look no further.

When Dodge first introduced the 2016 Viper ACR, it revealed the car had broken the lap record at 13 different road courses across America. While that feat is telling of the car’s performance, there’s really only one racetrack where a lap record is truly appreciated: the Nurburgring.
