The newest generation of the Porsche 911 GT3 just made its worldwide debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with a new rear-wheel steering system and Porsche’s seven-speed PDK transmission. 

Photos of the Porsche 911 GT3 were revealed earlier today, and now details have come out regarding the German brand’s iconic sports car including the addition of rear-wheel steering, and the axing of the manual transmission. 

Ferrari, McLaren and Lamborghini may all be showcasing wild and crazy supercars at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, but if you’re an automotive purist, there’s no need to look any further than these first photos of the 2014 Porsche GT3.

The newest version of the Porsche 911, the 991, has yet to make it to the professional racing circuit, but a teaser video released by Porsche suggests that we don’t have long to wait. 

Despite reports to the contrary, the next iteration of the Porsche GT3 will not get a dual-clutch PDK transmission. This news comes direct from Porsche CEO Matthias Muller in a recent interview with Motor Trend.

Continental Tire and Grand-Am have teamed up to give away a Porsche GT3 and a Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid, raising awareness and funds for the WorldCause Foundation that helps seriously ill children.

HRE Wheels has introduced three centerlock wheel models for the Porsche 911 Turbo and GT3 in OEM and custom applications. Styles include the three piece Competition Series C90-C and C93-C, while HRE also offers a monoblok one series offering with their P40-C design.
