The baby Porsche Panamera model will be a dedicated electric vehicle in the automaker’s lineup.

The Porsche Pajun has been delayed again to at least 2019.

Looking to grow its sales to 200,000 units a year, German sports car manufacturer Porsche will debut as many as four all-new models in the coming years.

The Porsche Pajun has been delayed and debated for over a year, but it appears that German automaker is poised to give its Panamera junior model the green light for production.

With its new Macan model on the way to slot in under the Cayenne, Porsche is actively hunting new market segments to fill and could add two more models to its lineup at very different ends of the spectrum.

It’s been a while since we heard anything about the Porsche Pajun, a smaller version of the Panamera that would compete with the Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series, but information is starting to crop up again. 

With the success of Porsche‘s Panamera sedan, it’s little surprise that the automaker is now looking to introduce yet another 4-door model. With the Panamera sitting at the top of the range, the new model, code named the Pajun, will be a more affordable sedan, competing in the same realm as the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class.
