The Lamborghini Huracan has so many different variations that rich people everywhere are starting to lose track, but the Italian automaker has added yet another model to the Huracan lineup.

We are back with this week’s installment of AutoGuide’s newest, interactive weekly feature ‘Commute, Toy or Destroy’.

Porsche has finally divulged all of the specs and information on the production-ready version of its 918 Spyder supercar, along with a gallery of photos showing the car in its production form. 

It’s been almost half a year since we last heard anything about Porsche‘s 918 Spyder Hybrid supercar. Few details have come forward since the German sports car maker confirmed that it was heading for production, but now we’ve been fed some information to tide us over until the production model comes to fruition.

The Hennessey Venom GT will get even cooler in 2013 with the option to go topless.

Mansory’s extravagant creations are becoming more hit-or-miss in terms of success, but thankfully their rendition of Audi’s R8 Spyder is tolerable if not elegant. Known to sometimes go over the top, we’re surprised by the subtle approach Mansory took with Audi’s exotic convertible supercar.

With the upcoming launch of the R8 GT Spyder at the Frankfurt auto show, Audi has recently released another video featuring its venerable sports car. The new promo video includes an extensive walk through of the high performance car, showcasing the exterior and interior. We also get to see the car in action on the track, and hear the amazing exhaust note.

Production is limited to only 333 units and the car sheds 187 lbs (compared to the standard Spyder) thanks to extensive use of carbon fibre, allowing it to achieve mind blistering acceleration. This Audi is capable of 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 317 km/h. The Spyder will be powered by a V12 5.2-liter FSI engine producing 560-hp. The transmission will be an automatic R-Tronic 6-speed. The car will cost a cool € 207 800 or $295 782.52 in USD. Apparently 90 units of the GT Coupe will arrive Stateside, so expect the same number for the Spyder version.

As much as we love Audi‘s new R8 Spyder, there is something wrong with it – the potential to catch on fire! Not to worry, however, as Audi has issues a recall on all 920 R8 Spyders dating from 2011 and 2012.

Audi donated two chrome R8s for the Elton John Aids Foundation that were auctioned off at the annual White Tie and Tiara Ball on Thursday June 23rd.

There has been a whole lot of buzz around Audi’s R8 GT since its official debut, and now we have the first photos of the lighter and faster exotic sports car hitting the track at Infineon Raceway. This is the R8 GT’s debut on the track in America and a few lucky individuals were able to get behind the wheel of the sports car this past weekend.

Audi’s Le Mans participation this year was all forms of glorious, from insane crashes to a triumphant podium finish. But mixed in with the excitement of the actual 24 Hour race was the debut of the 2012 Audi R8 GT Spyder. Sporting 560-hp and 398 ft-lbs of torque from its 5.2L V10, the ragtop Audi goes from 0-60 mph in a mere 3.8 seconds, this time with its top down.

Many embargoes died to bring you this information. Colors, drive modes and performance estimates about the latest über-car from Porsche, the 918 Spyder, have been leaked through internal dealership documents.

A full four years before the Mitsubishi 3000GT Spyder debuted, another Japanese sports car with a folding hardtop made its debut. You may not have heard of the Nissan 300ZX Spyder, partly because they only ever made one example.

Lamborghini‘s newest, badass Gallardo continues the proud tradition of giving Italian supercars incredibly banal names, with the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante, which literally means “Convertible Performance”.

The rest of the car is anything but staid, with enough performante to give you a third eye socket.  Weighing just under 3300 pounds, the droptop Lambo packs a 570 horsepower V10 and hits 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 201 mph. Weight has been reduced by 143 lbs, coincidentally the upper weight limit of any potential owner’s female companion.

Expect to see this car parked outside a fancy restaurant sometime in 2011, most likely with the optional massive spoiler installed.
