With BMW seemingly bent on filling every automotive niche it possibly can, we’ve now been given more details on the M6 Gran Coupe, based on the 6-Series four-door slated for introduction this year.

Considering that many rumors have been circulating about the future of the Chevrolet Camaro, ranging from the fact that it might be axed, to it being based on a version of the same platform that will underpin the Cadillac ATS (which would essentially mean no V8 option, due to lack of space under the hood),  it now appears that through the end of the decade at least, the Camaro won’t likely change too much.

Following on from some images of the upcoming   Scion FR-S (Toyota FT-86 in other markets), detailed specifications have now been leaked from a reported actual Toyota training manual onto the web, via enthusiast site FT86Club.com

Amid grand plans to turn the brand into a true Audi/BMW competitor Ford stated, that in addition to Lincoln being given greater autonomy, it had put in place plans to introduce a raft of new models, including a “premium” compact car, the MKC, designed to compete with the likes of the A3 and 1-Series.

Wolfgang Dürheimer, Bentley Motors’ CEO recently declared, in reference to the firm’s upcoming SUV, that,  “we will be first to use a 12-cylinder petrol engine in a luxury SUV.”

And it promises to be the most radical example of the breed yet, according to inside sources within Jaguar Land Rover.

BMW‘s chief executive, Norbert Reithofer has confirmed that the company plans to offer yet another ‘sport activity vehicle,’ this latest one to be called the X4.
