Mercedes customers in Europe who drive a car equipped with “Comand” are getting access to the brand’s app store first previewed at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show.

Opel, General Motors’ German wing is boasting big changes to their Insignia sedan, including a new biturbo diesel.The engine makes 195 horsepower and about 295 foot-pounds of torque, but the real eye-catcher on the new engine is fuel consumption and emissions. The new Insignia is only supposed to emit 129g/km of CO2 and achieves 48 miles-per-gallon.

Talk about being at the right place at the right time. On the A114 highway near Foggia, Italy, a truck carrying 2 million or so Euros (that’s about $2.5 million) overturned and spilled out its contents. And by contents, we mean coins in the form of 1 or 2 Euros – and yes, that’s a whole lot of coins.
