Like the 2012 SEMA Show in America, the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon was packed with Toyota and Subaru’s latest sports car. But that’s not to say that there weren’t plenty of other attractions on the Makuhari Messe Convention Center show floor. 

Wald’s creations are known to be aggressive but for the most part they tend to keep the luxury still intact with their styling packages. This time however, they may have gone too far with their Black Bison kit for the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe.

Typically we’ve been having to present official Wald Black Bison vehicles sporting Wald wheels and other Wald goods, hardly ever do we get to spot a full Wald Black Bison vehicle sporting someone else’s wheels. This time around, to show off Wald’s new Black Bison kit for the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG, we decided to give the spotlight to Need 4 Speed Motorsports that put together this beauty.

Continuing on its success in building multiple Black Bison packages for various Mercedes-Benz models, Wald has decided to show off its newest tuning package for the SL Class. As we’ve come to know and expect from Wald’s Black Bison line, the SL Class receives an aggressive body kit that can be ordered in either glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) or carbon.

Toyo Tires has just announced their vehicle lineup for this year’s SEMA Show, bringing four high-profile and customized vehicles to their booth and announcing three of them today.

Back in March, Wald previewed its Black Bison package for the newly-revamped Mercedes CLS, and now we can feast our eyes on official photos of the finish product.

Wald is giving older-generation Jaguar XJ owners something to get excited about. Part of their Black Bison line, Wald has introduced a new styling package for the XJ transforming the aesthetics and giving the luxury sedan a much sportier look. Along with the kit, customers can opt for a set of Wald wheels and a quad-tipped exhaust system.

Clearly Mercedes-Benz‘s newest CLS is going to be the real hot kid on the block and the aftermarket is well aware of this, jumping on it quicker than we’ve seen in recent years. Wald is the latest tuner committing to the new CLS and it looks like they’ll be bringing their oddly-named Black Bison treatment, giving the CLS an even sportier look.

Hot on the heels of their Tokyo Auto Salon showing, Wald International has released a Black Bison Edition styling package for one of Japan’s top luxury sedans, the LS series from Lexus. To show off their new kit, Wald chose to use an LS600h as their demo vehicle, but promises that the Black Bison Edition is compatible with the LS460 and even the LS long wheelbase model.

Wald International has continued their rapid development and release of Black Bison tuning packages with the Maserati Quattroporte being their latest subject. And while there aren’t any real significant surprises in terms of the body kit and wheels Wald International outfitted on the Maserati Quattroporte, we’re a little more excited at the fact that the Japanese tuner is focusing more on Italian offerings as well.

Wald International, a famed VIP-themed Japanese tuner, has turned their attention to British’s finest luxury sedan the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Wald didn’t stop at just an ordinary Phantom however, they decided to release their newest Sports Line Black Bison Edition kit for the Phantom EWB – the extended wheelbase model.

With Bentley’s release of the 2011 Continental GT, one can safely assume that a refresh on the Flying Spur is around the corner. So if you’re one of those owners “stuck” with the current generation Flying Spur and don’t want to look out-of-date when Bentley inevitably releases the new generation, Wald International has released their Black Bison styling package for you.

The world of tuning hybrids has really evolved in a short period of time. The good looks of the Honda Insight and Toyota Prius have really captured the Japanese aftermarket. We saw it first hand at the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon, where the overwhelming amount of customized hybrids caught us by surprise.

While Lorinser and Carlsson are staple brands for Mercedes-Benz tuning, Wald is hardly overlooked among luxury enthusiasts. The Japanese body kit specialists have revamped their Black Bison Styling Edition kit for the recently facelifted Mercedes-Benz S-Class W221 chassis and it’s looking stellar.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Wald Nissan GT-R, and it surely won’t be the last. This one is built by SR Auto Group in Canada, a company that specializes in luxury and exotic vehicles. While the two-tone black (carbon fiber) and white scheme is nice, we find it a little overwhelming – perhaps a little too much contrast going on. But we have to admit it does look killer overall and very unique.
