BMW Adds More "M" To The 2025 M5

In keeping with BMW M’s “more is more” strategy, a host of M Performance-branded parts and upgrades are now available for the new 2025 BMW M5.

The Munich brand says the host of carbon fiber parts largely enhance “aerodynamic” performance, though improvements to downforce or drag reductions aren’t mentioned. These M Performance parts also shake up the new M5’s looks a little with a carbon fiber splitter and side sill extensions.

There’s also a new carbon diffuser at the rear which can be paired with carbon-trimmed M tailpipe accents, and the car’s rear deck can be further decked out in carbon with a new lip spoiler. BMW M will also sell you some carbon mirror caps and M-branded tire valve covers.

These tire valve caps are the start of a long list of rather silly M-branded accessories for the new M5. BMW offers matte black M Performance decals, a carbon fiber antenna cover for the roof, a carbon fuel cap, and loads of other accessories that won’t live on the car.

You can buy some M-Performance floor mats (in one of four available colorways), or perhaps some M tire bags. If BMW’s giant, shiny black factory key wasn’t extra enough, there’s also a nappa leather key cover. Pricing hasn’t been announced for any of the accessories, but at least the excess carbon fiber will trim some of M5’s substantial curb weight.
