2018 Mitsubishi Cars

Mitsubishi Motors is now a partner with Nissan and Renault, but the brand is best known for its lineup of crossovers, including the Outlander and Outlander Sport. More recently Mitsubishi split the difference between these two with the Eclipse Cross, a more angular crossover. Enthusiasts loved the brand for the rally-ready Lancer Evolution, which bowed out a few years back, while those concerned about the environment should check out the plug-in electric hybrid Outlander. The diminutive Mirage remains one of the cheapest new cars on the market, and boasts some of the best fuel mileage numbers of any pure-gasoline model. Mitsubishi got its start in North America by selling vehicles co-engineered with Chrysler, including the highly successful Galant sedan and Eclipse sports coupe, which were built in the United States. Management problems in Japan, a failed financing scheme in America and a lack of relevant product hampered the brand over the last decade, but vehicles like the Lancer Ralliart and Lancer Evolution have helped Mitsubishi keep a high profile in the public’s eye.
