2020 Lincoln MKZ OverviewThe Lincoln MKZ is available with one of several different engines. The 4-cylinder option is a 2.0L turbocharged unit that makes 245 hp, more than enough for most drivers while maintaining a respectable 31 highway mpg. For those looking for even more efficiency, a hybrid powertrain is available that pushes a very impressive 40 combined mpg.
The optional engine is a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 with direct injection. In its basic guise it makes 350 hp, enough to make the MKZ quite quick. If a buyer should opt for all-wheel drive in conjunction with the V6, they will be treated to an extra 50 hp, bringing the grand total up to 400 hp.
Standard equipment on the Lincoln MKZ with the 2.0L turbo is extensive and includes 10-way heated front seats with a memory function for the driver's side, A 10-inch LCD gauge cluster, Ford's SYNC 3 infotainment system, SiriusXM Satellite radio, 2 USB ports and an audio jack, dual-zone temperature control, a remote starter, 18" machined aluminum wheels, paddle shifters behind the steering wheel and a rear-view camera.
Models equipped with the V6 also get wood paneling on the interior, additional ambient lighting, a power telescoping steering wheel and auto-folding side view mirrors.
Options include a Technology package that features adaptive cruise control, pre-collision and pedestrian detection systems, a self-parking feature and rain-sensing wipers. A panoramic glass sunroof is available, created what Lincoln claim to be the largest sunroof opening amongst sedans currently sold. A luxury package meanwhile, adds a 20-speaker Revel Ultima sound system along with LED headlights, while the Select Plus Package adds a navigation system and a blind spot detection system.

2020 Lincoln MKZ Value
The Lincoln MKZ is a mid-sized luxury car that serves as the luxury automaker's entry-level model. Starting at just above $35,000, the MKZ competes with other mid-sized luxury sedans such as the Lexus ES350 and the Acura TLX. However, with its low starting base price, the MKZ can also bump up against optioned-up versions of the much more common Camry and Accord. The Lincoln MKZ is available with several different drivetrains, including all-wheel drive versions and a hybrid option. With plenty of technology and its high-quality interior, the MKZ makes a compelling argument for itself in the mid $30,000 luxury car market.
