2021 Subaru Cars
Subaru has experienced a strong surge in sales for over a decade that shows no signs of stopping. Lead by the brand's SUVs, products like the Outback, Forester, and Crosstrek have proved to be an excellent value while also offering standard all-wheel drive. New for the 2022 model year are the additions of the Wilderness trim levels for the Forester and Outback that further enhance the vehicle's off-road ability.
The Ascent joined the lineup a few years ago to provide a three-row option for shoppers. Subaru's car offerings, the Impreza and Outback, may not have the same sales success as the brand's crossovers, but with standard all-wheel drive, they still have a loyal following. Especially in the snow belt.
Meanwhile the the WRX and STI continue to serve as Subaru’s performance car halo models, with the back-to-basics BRZ sports car slotted below them. The BRZ is all-new for 2022, entering its second generation with a more powerful 2.4-liter engine. The WRX is equally new for the 2023 model year, built on Subaru's global platform with a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine that delivers better real-world torque.
