How Much Does Warranty Solutions Coverage Cost?
As Warranty Solutions does not sell directly to consumers, we were unable to contact the company for a quote. Warranty Solutions vehicle service contracts are purchased through dealerships, and the price of each plan may be negotiable.
Common factors that affect the final cost of a vehicle service warranty include coverage level, term length, deductible, vehicle model, and vehicle mileage.
While we were not able to contact Warranty Solutions for a quote, we were able to find multiple customer reviews that detailed how much drivers paid for coverage. One customer reported paying $2,500 for 4 Star Plus coverage for 100,000 miles. The vehicle covered was a 2015 Nissan Murano with 3,400 miles. We found another customer who reported paying $2,492 for a 5 Star warranty (though the vehicle model and mileage was not specified). Other reports mentioned similar prices.
For the level of protection offered by 4 Star Plus coverage, $2,500 is a reasonable price. Based on our industry research, it’s on the lower side of the average cost for such contracts.
Quotes and Claims Processes
You cannot buy a Warranty Solutions extended warranty directly from the provider. Instead, you’ll need to reach out to a dealership to ask for a quote. Contracts appear to only be available at the time of vehicle purchase, but some dealerships may allow drivers to add on Warranty Solutions coverage anytime before their vehicle’s factory warranty expires.
If you already have a Warranty Solutions contract and need to file a claim, you can fill out a form online or contact the company directly by calling 800-828-1392.
Warranty Solutions Ratings and Reviews
Warranty Solutions holds an A+ rating and accreditation from the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
Despite its high rating, Warranty Solutions only has a one-star customer review score. Over 25 customers have given reviews, and each has only awarded the company one star. A number of complaints mention claim denials, which is a fairly typical grievance against extended warranty companies. More concerning are the reports of slow communication times, lost claim submissions, difficulties contacting the claims office, and misleading advertising.
If you’re considering a Warranty Solutions extended warranty, be sure to read the contract thoroughly before signing on the dotted line.
Warranty Solutions Extended Warranty: 3.1 Stars
Warranty Solutions is an average choice for an extended warranty. The company is backed by a reliable insurance company and has a positive industry reputation. Warranty Solutions has average pricing according to customer reviews, but the large range of plan options may actually work against the provider. The similar plan names can make trying to choose the right plan confusing for customers.
Additionally, there are very few reviews from actual customers, and the vast majority are complaints, especially about poor claims servicing. There is little positive customer feedback for Warranty Solutions.
Top Recommendations for Extended Car Warranties
Warranty Solutions may have a spotty customer service record, but there are plenty of other companies that have an established history of reliable service. Consider two of our top recommended providers: Endurance and CarShield. While no company is perfect, both Endurance and CarShield are among the most reputable extended car warranty companies out there.
