HRE wheels has teamed up with Michigan-based Corvette tuner Specter Werkes/Sports to build a seriously impressive ZO6, which will showcase the wheel maker’s new carbon fiber rims. HRE has been working on a line of carbon fiber wheels for quite some time now – even displaying a prototype version at last year’s SEMA Show. The testing appears to be finished, with these light-weight rollers tipping the scales at just 22-lbs each.

The Specter Werkes car also includes the tuner’s wild aero kit, with plenty of carbon fiber and a race-ready appearance. And let’s not forget the Lingenfelter-sourced twin-turbo 7.0-liter LS7 setup (and Corsa exhaust) that produces as much as 800-hp!
