Ralph Lauren doesn’t just design fabulous clothes – he’s also the owner of an exclusive exotic car collection. And while this collection may be a bit out of reach of us ordinary folks, you can bring home one of the limited edition scale models.

Just in time for the holiday season, these models measure in at 1:8 scale and will perfectly complement any enthusiast’s collection. The scale models include Lauren’s $40 million 1938 Bugatti 57 SC Atlantic Coupé, his $25 million 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, 1958 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa and 1996 McLaren F1 LM. It also marks the first time the iconic designer has allowed models of his prized collection to be made.

When designing these models, the cars were digitally scanned, which allowed them to boast details that are accurate to one tenth of a millimeter over the length of the vehicle. It took 3,000 hours to create each of the prototypes – that’s about the same amount of time it takes to completely restore a full-sized classic car. Each model sits on a custom-designed base with a removable covering.

The full-sized exotic automobiles were recently on display at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris for the Art of the Automobile: Masterpieces from the Ralph Lauren Collection show. Models are priced at $9,500 and are available through Ralph Lauren Home.
