Chevy Camaro GT3 Race Car is Ready to Compete

Chevy Camaro GT3 Race Car is Ready to Compete

The Sareni United / YACO Motorsport Chevy Camaro GT3 race car is pure awesome. We thought the final version debuted earlier this year, but the team did some last-minute tweaks to make it look better than ever.

Even though the changes aren’t extensive, the Camaro GT3 race car now sports a large carbon fiber splitter and several canards on the front bumper, no doubt enhancing its aerodynamics. It has also gotten some sponsor decals on its door plate where its race number will reside. The short exhaust pipes still run out behind the front wheels and the same big black spoiler sits on the rear.

Under the hood is a 7.9L V8 mated to a Holinger gear box packing 650 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. We can’t wait to see how it does in competition.

wow compared to the Boss 302 (440 hp) this should get…..whooped up on around a track lol compared to the GT500 this should get…..whooped up on in a straight line. good job chevy holding up the #3 spot. oh yeah and in any type of real competition, lol camaro is going to get crushed on. i’m glad there is healthy competition, it keeps ford looking even better 🙂

    That thing is HIDEOUS.

The Camaro looks like a movie prop and no amount of carbon fiber canards will make it look like anything other than a cheap movie prop.

Chevy needs to know that Seppuku is more honorable than being defeated by your opponents.
