The Nardo ring in Italy is meant for one thing: speed. Usually hosting German sports cars, the track played host for the testing of the top speed in the Shelby GT500 Mustang.

The 14km oval is perfect for testing at speeds, as it doesn’t offer any obstruction and is slightly banked to hold the cars on the pavement. The 662 hp GT500 looks great ripping past on the ring, and manages to hit 200 mph on the track.

There are not many other places in the world where you could get a chance to test a 200 mph top speed, that’s why Italy’s Nardo ring is perfect for speed tests.
