Lexus LS Unveil Event Video Released

We already told you about the Lexus LS unveilling dubbed ‘Laws of Attraction’, and now Lexus has released a video of the event, packed with all the glitz and glamour a person would expect from a celebrity-attended, Lexus flagship-vehicle unveiling.

The event doubled as an art exhibition based around the idea of “attraction. ” The theme is tied to the idea that people are naturally attracted to the new LS. People are indeed so attracted to it, they could not stop from leaking a full gallery of the top-of-the-line F-Sport model, online, two days before the formal event.

The new LS features technology like a 12.3 inch display in the dashboard, which provides wide-angle views. There is an all LED lighting system, dubbed “Advanced Illumination System” or AIS. The new “Climate Concierge” regulates the temperature in the cabin by using multiple sensors and teaming up with the ventilated seats and heated steering wheel.

Just like the previous generation, the hybrid LS600hL remains only available in long-wheelbase trim and with AWD. Conversely the new LS460 F-Sport, like the LS460 and LS460L, is available with RWD or AWD. Both wheelbases are available on the F-Sport, and while the interior trim in the hybrid is environmentally-conscious bamboo, the F-Sport features actual aluminum trim and larger bolsters on the seats.

The AWD versions of the LS use a Torsen limited-slip-differential that can also be found in the RWD F-Sport. Suspension has been lowered in the F-sport by 0.4 inches and the gear-changes can be made through paddle-shifters. Performance models also feature 6 piston Brembo brakes covered by 19′ forged wheels. Pricing details are yet to be released.
