Joining Acura‘s already impressive family of IIHS Top Safety Pick vehicles is its newest ILX model, which was just awarded the highest possible score of good in all four tests, including the roof-strength test.

The Acura ILX joins the 2013 RDX and 2012 TL, MDX, and TSX as IIHS Top Safety Picks. The Japanese automaker attributes its safety success to its advanced compatibility engineering (ACE) body structure. The exclusive body design enhances occupant protection and crash compatibility in front crashes.
