A gathering on September 15, 2012 brought together 964 Ferrari sports cars at Silverstone circuit in England, which has now been confirmed by Guinness World Records as “the largest parade of Ferrari cars.”

The original goal was to get 1,000 Ferraris together , which was scaled back to an estimate of just 600 cars before the event. The actual number was 964, almost meeting the original expectation and shattering the previous record of 490. At one point during the meet day, every Ferrari in attendance was moving simultaneously on the track, with only 250m separating the leader of the pack from the tail car.

Each Ferrari that showed up also netted a £5 donation to BEN, the auto industry’s charity out in England.
