Subaru Previews 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon Lineup

Subaru has announced its lineup for the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon, where enthusiasts will undoubtedly be interested to see its BRZ Premium Sport Package Concept, Forester Sport Concept, and XV Sport Concept.

In total, the Japanese automaker will be bringing 10 items to exhibit, with eight of them being vehicles. Along with the Sport Concepts, Subaru will have a factory Legacy tS model on display, along with a BRZ race car that was built in collaboration with Gazoo Racing. In addition, the automaker will be debuting its 2013 Nurburgring 24 Subaru Impreza WRX STi race car.

The remaining two vehicles that will be present in Tokyo are its GT300 BRZ race car and an Impreza WRX STi four-door car for R4 racing. On display will be a next-generation D-4S engine and lastly is a Turbo “DIT” engine in cut out form.

According to the Japanese automaker, the BRZ Premium Sport Package Concept will feature a carbon fiber roof, 19-inch wheels by BBS, an STi aero kit, custom interior, and a sports muffler. The newly-launched Forester model will also be featured with a Sport Concept package featuring 20-inch BBS wheels and prototype STi parts and suspension components. A similar set of upgrades will also be seen on the XV crossover model.
