2014 Jeep Cherokee Rated at 31 MPG Highway

The 2014 Jeep Cherokee front-wheel drive model with the base four-cylinder engine has been rated at 22 mpg in the city, 31 mpg on the highway.

Previously, the American automaker revealed that the 2014 4×4 Cherokee is rated at 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Opting for the 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 engine will net you 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway in two-wheel drive form.

Equipped with four-wheel drive and the V6 engine, the 2014 Jeep Cherokee is rated at 19-mpg city and 27-mpg highway. The 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine comes with 184 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque and its fuel figures are competitive within the segment. The 2013 Toyota RAV4, for example, gets 24-mpg city, 31-mpg highway from its 2.5-liter, four-cylinder with 176 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque.
