Mercedes-Benz is testing the newest generation of the GLK crossover and our spy photographers grabbed some shots of the small Benz up close.

Styling wise, it looks as though the new GLK will drop some of its hard angles in favor of a more swooping design. This prototype also looks to be slightly larger than the GLK of old, likely providing more rear cargo room along with more passenger space.

The GLK shares its powertrains and platform with the C-Class, so expect the updated crossover to debut sometime after the new C-Class is revealed in early 2014.
